OUR IMPACT Family Support Partners Over the course of the last two years, Family Futures has employed peer specialists to collaborate with parents who are working to be reunified with their children through the Family Treatment Court program. The success of this program has been nothing less than amazing. It is estimated that between 90 and 100 children will benefit from this effort on an annual basis. Ideally, Family Futures would like to expand this program beyond those in the Family Treatment Program to any parent who is currently involved with the child welfare system. Parenting Education Family Futures has been providing parenting classes and education over the course of the last couple of years. The Board of Family Futures has decided, with input from Children’s Division and the Family Treatment Court, for staff to learn the Nurturing Families curriculum, an evidence-based program that is used extremely successfully in St. Louis County. It is estimated that another 60 to 70 children will eventually benefit from this parenting education.
